I am writing a series of blog posts on The Process of Change. This is number 1 of 8 where I will introduce the series and why lifestyle change are important. I will also give you a better idea of health coaching and what it can mean to you through your journey of change. I am calling the first blog: Deteriorating Health!


Not prioritising your health?

Are you at a place where you are not satisfied with your health? Has your health deteriorated to a place where you feel you have no control anymore? Do you feel tired all the time? Are you gaining weight and finding it harder to lose the kilograms, no matter how hard you try? Does your body ache with inflammation? Are you experiencing poor sleep, low mood, or anxiety…? The list just goes on and on.


If this sounds familiar to you, we have something in common. You are in a similar place I found myself in 2018. I was not prioritising my health and got to a place where I felt sick…

This is where I was introduced to health coaching. I enrolled in the Health Coaches Academy to improve my health! And during this time, I made an appointment with a Functional Health Medical Doctor who did a whole lot of tests to see what the problem was. My triglycerides and cortisol levels were sky high, my serotonin levels rock bottom and my body fat, let’s say, not desirable. I only then understood the saying: "If you do not make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness" ~ Anonymous


"It is Health that is Real Wealth"

I am sure so many of us heard this quote before, from a well-known wise man: “It is health that is real wealth & not pieces of gold & silver” ~ Mahatma Gandhi, but do we really take it seriously? Sometimes we have to lose something before we know that it is our wealth, that we cannot do much without our health. It took “unwellness” to make me realise how important my wellness is, to me, and how important my health is to my family.


A health coaching program can help you do just that, Health coaching helps you to prioritise your health, the process helps you to create an exciting new lifestyle where you enjoy an improved attitude toward health. Health Coaching empowers you to make lasting changes, for good. Health Coaching helps you to look at your life as a whole and make changes in every aspect of your life so that you can improve your health.
