About Me

My name is Lindie, I am a Certified Health Coach, Psychology Graduate, and Brain Health & Fitness Expert and I work with clients who want to improve their health, who need to lose excess weight, and who want to improve their emotional well-being in the process.
 
My mission is to provide you with a motivational coaching program, lifestyle support, and with nutrition education so that you can achieve better health.  Through the process, I strive to help you commit to a healthy lifestyle and help you make the behavior changes needed to accomplish this.

You can choose to work with me if you are dissatisfied with any area of your life and health and feel a need to improve them. We will work together to overcome obstacles and barriers to reach your health and wellness goals. I have helped many clients achieve their goal weight and helped them maintain it. 

 

Lindie Nortje Health and Nutrition Coach

My journey to health coaching started when I was overweight and tired of waking up in a low mood and with no energy. I was stressed and consumed with anxiety and I felt that I had to do something.  Even if I was always conscious of healthy choices, and exercised regularly, that was not enough for me to have optimal health and stay at a healthy weight. I needed something more.

 

Discovering health coaching changed my life and I felt the need to help others just like me to prioritise their health and help them to live a balanced life. My passion has always been people; I completed a degree in Health Sciences and Social Services, and an Honors Degree in Psychology through the University of South Africa.  I am now happy to combine my interest in people's behavior and health into my work as a Health Coach. I also trained with the Brain Food Academy to help clients reach optimum brain health and mental fitness through the right nutrition and lifestyle habits (Nutritional Psychiatry). My approach is to encourage you to look at your life as a whole, this helps you get clarity on what is working, and what is not working in relation to your health goals.

 

I help you to work through barriers to help you overcome challenges that are preventing you from creating life-long healthy habits.
